About AdGurus

AdGurus is a boutique performance marketing agency focused on helping clients achieve measurable growth through digital advertising.

We work both as an agency and as an extension of our clients' internal marketing teams. We are a small, founder-led, fully remote team. That means you will work with the agency founder directly to assist in managing the agencies clients.

The role

We are looking for a Junior Performance Marketing Executive who is curious, analytical, dependable, and excited about using AI to do better work.

This is a junior role, but it is not a role in which you will only observe. You will work on real Google Ads and Meta Ads accounts from the beginning, initially with close guidance and gradually with greater independence.

You do not need to know everything already. You do need a basic understanding of performance marketing, a willingness to learn quickly, and the discipline to check your work carefully.

What you will do

- Help set up, monitor, and optimize campaigns across Google Ads, Meta Ads and other advertising platforms.

- Review campaign performance and investigate changes in spend, conversions, and efficiency.

- Check budgets, pacing, platform notifications, and tracking signals, escalating potential issues early.

- Prepare and upload campaign structures, ads, copy, audiences, and creative assets.

- Perform basic creative editing using tools such as Canva.

- Use AI tools like Nano Banana to create and edit creatives for ads.

- Maintain accurate reports and spreadsheets and turn campaign data into clear observations.

- Track client requests and help ensure that work is completed accurately and on time.

- Prepare clear internal updates and, as you develop, contribute to client communication.

- Use AI tools for research, analysis, drafting, quality assurance, and workflow improvement while verifying their output and remaining accountable for the result.

- Gradually take ownership of selected campaigns and client accounts as your skills and judgement develop.

What we are looking for

- A genuine interest in performance marketing, data, and consumer behaviour.

- Foundational knowledge of both Google Ads and Meta Ads. You should understand the basic campaign structures, objectives, targeting options, budgets, and core performance metrics. This knowledge may come from work, an internship, coursework, certifications, personal projects, or self-directed learning.

- Comfort working with numbers and spreadsheets such as Excel or Google Sheets.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.

- Excellent written and verbal communication in Greek and English.

- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to completing and checking work.

- The ability to organize your work, meet commitments, and communicate proactively in a remote environment.

- An AI-first mindset: you actively explore how AI can improve your work, but you do not trust its output blindly.

- Current residence in Greece. Athens is preferred.

A university degree in marketing, business, mathematics, statistics, or a related field can be useful. We care more about how you think, learn, and work.

Certifications and experience

Google Ads or Meta certifications are welcome, but they are not a substitute for practical understanding.

If you do not already hold relevant certifications, you will be expected to complete the appropriate Google Ads certifications as part of your first months in the role.

Previous professional experience is essential. Internships, university assignments, certifications, personal projects, and independently created campaign analyses are all valid ways to demonstrate your potential.

You may be a strong fit if you

- Enjoy investigating why a number changed.

- Learn new tools without waiting for a complete step-by-step manual.

- Notice small errors before they become larger problems.

- Ask thoughtful questions when requirements are unclear.

- Communicate early when work is blocked or something appears to be wrong.

- Prefer measurable outcomes to vague activity.

- Want responsibility, feedback, and continuous improvement.

- See AI as a practical working tool rather than a shortcut around thinking.

How we will support your development

You will not be expected to figure everything out alone. Your development will include:

- An onboarding plan covering our platforms, accounts, workflows, and quality standards.

- You will work directly with the founder before taking independent ownership.

- Daily one-to-one check-ins during onboarding.

- Regular campaign and account reviews in which we examine both results and decision-making.

- Direct feedback on your analysis, campaign changes, reports, and client communication.

- A clear certification and learning plan for Google Ads, Meta Ads, analytics, and related tools.

- Gradual ownership of campaigns and accounts when you demonstrate readiness.

What success looks like in your first three months

- You learn and consistently follow our campaign-management and reporting processes.

- You complete recurring tasks accurately and on time.

- You identify unusual campaign activity and raise it with the right context.

- You produce reliable reports and concise internal updates.

- You respond well to feedback and apply it to future work.

- You use AI productively while checking facts, calculations, and platform-specific recommendations.

- You begin contributing useful observations and potential improvements to campaigns.

What we offer

- €1000 net per month (around 1.256 gross), paid 14 times per year.

- Full-time employment.

- A fully remote day-to-day working model.

- Direct mentoring from the founder.

- Experience across campaign execution, analytics, reporting, creative testing, and client communication.

- Space to explore AI-assisted workflows and useful automation.

- Increasing responsibility as your skills and judgement develop.

- End year bonus compensation.
