Job Overview: 

AdPolice is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative (BDR). The BDR will be responsible for prospecting new leads worldwide, focusing on companies that fit our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP). The main goal is to identify and engage potential clients for AdPolice, an automated Paid Search Monitoring & Brand Protection solution specialising in detecting and preventing affiliate ad-hijacking & brand bidding in Paid Search, and other affiliate channels. 

Key Responsibilities:Lead Generation

  • Identify potential clients that match the ICP using online research, social media, industry directories, and other resources. 
  • Qualify leads based on criteria such as web traffic visitors (>500k), employee count (100+), annual revenue (> $1m), and, ideally, status as a global brand. 

Outbound Sales

  • Conduct email and cold call outreach to decision-makers and key stakeholders, including C-Level executives, CEOs, CMOs, Marketing Directors, Marketing Managers, Affiliate Managers, PPC Managers, SEA Managers, and Marketing/PPC/Affiliate Executives. 
  • Schedule introductory meetings or product demos to showcase the value of the AdPolice solution. 

Relationship Building

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential clients. 
  • Understand clients' business needs and challenges, particularly regarding affiliate fraud and ad-hijacking, to position AdPolice effectively. 

Pipeline Management

  • Track and manage leads through the sales pipeline using CRM software. 
  • Ensure timely follow-up on all leads and maintain detailed records of interactions. 

Collaboration

  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align on strategies and share insights. 
  • Provide feedback to the Sales Team based on client interactions to help refine AdPolice’s offerings and messaging. 

Target Achievement

  • Meet or exceed targets for lead generation, meetings set, and new business opportunities created during the contract period. 

Qualifications:Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in digital marketing or a related field preferred but not required. 

Experience

  • 1+ years of experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in digital marketing or online marketplace industries. 
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. 

Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities. 
  • Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Pipedrive) and prospecting sales tools (e.g., Apollo). 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Knowledge of affiliate marketing and the challenges of affiliate fraud is a plus.
