About Us

AIRA Edtech empowers professionals, students, and organizations with practical, job-ready skills designed for the modern digital economy. We specialize in outcome-driven corporate and professional training across emerging tech, AI literacy, and workplace capability building. Through interactive instructional design, modular learning paths, and modern LMS infrastructure, we help learners acquire applied skills that lead directly to tangible performance and career outcomes.

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Instructional Design Intern to join our remote team. Please note that this is an unpaid, pro-bono internship position. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience by assisting in the transformation of learning requirements and storyboards into polished, interactive courses within Moodle. This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring e-learning professional to build a strong portfolio, learn industry-standard tools, and gain practical experience working on high-impact projects in a fast-paced EdTech environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Curriculum & Module Support: Assist in applying instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM) to help draft learning paths, objectives, and storyboards.
  • Moodle Course Setup: Support the organization and formatting of courses within Moodle, including uploading content, configuring sections, and setting up activity completion criteria.
  • Interactive Content Creation: Help develop interactive activities and microlearning modules using Moodle-native tools, H5P, and Canva.
  • Assessment & QA Assistance: Aid in building quizzes, question banks, and assignments, while rigorously testing course links, quiz logic, and gradebook settings before live release.
  • SCORM / xAPI Testing: Assist in testing and troubleshooting SCORM/xAPI learning packages within Moodle to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Learner Experience: Work with the team to ensure course layouts are responsive, accessible, and visually aligned with AIRA Edtech’s brand standards.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Educational Background: Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Instructional Design, Education, Human Resources, Educational Technology, or a related field.
  • Foundational Knowledge: A basic understanding of, or strong interest in, adult learning theory, needs analysis, and outcome-oriented curriculum design.
  • Tech-Savvy & Eager to Learn: Familiarity with or a strong willingness to learn LMS platforms (especially Moodle) and e-learning authoring tools.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent written English skills with the ability to articulate concepts clearly and collaborate effectively in a remote, cross-functional setup.
  • Detail Orientation: High diligence and a keen eye for QA testing, formatting, and organizing digital content.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with authoring tools like Articulate Storyline/Rise or H5P.
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS for customizing course blocks.
  • An interest in using AI tools for accelerating content authoring, asset generation, or scriptwriting.
  • Prior internship, volunteer, or academic project experience related to corporate L&D or EdTech.
