Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a UK Sales Rep (Education Experience) at SimpleStudy. The role involves identifying and engaging schools, colleges, and educational organisations across the UK to introduce and promote SimpleStudy’s exam revision solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting and qualifying leads, conducting online demos and presentations to educators and decision-makers, and managing the full sales cycle from initial outreach to closing agreements. The UK Sales Rep will build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the education sector, gather feedback from customers to inform product improvements, and collaborate with internal teams on campaigns and outreach strategies. The role also includes tracking sales performance, reporting on pipeline activity, and ensuring an excellent customer experience throughout the engagement process.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in sales or business development, ideally within the education sector, working with schools, colleges, or learning institutions.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage educators and decision-makers and explain product value clearly.
- Proficiency in relationship-building, account management, and stakeholder management to maintain long-term partnerships with educational organisations.
- Ability to use CRM tools, sales analytics, and digital communication platforms to manage pipelines, track activity, and report results.
- Knowledge of the UK education system and exam structures, with an understanding of teachers’ and students’ needs in exam preparation.
- Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable working remotely, managing time effectively, and meeting sales targets.
- Experience with edtech products or digital learning tools is beneficial, along with a genuine interest in improving student outcomes.
- Relevant qualification in education, business, or a related field is advantageous but not mandatory when supported by strong experience.
